Episode 13 marks the first podcast for our second year, and we're off to a good start. This year, I'm going to do my best to release the podcast every month on the second Saturday of the month. This will start with Episode 15. Episode 14 will be out this coming Saturday (April 16th, 2016), and then we'll release Episode 15 on the second Saturday, which is May 14th.

The main reason for the inconsistencies, is that — let's face it — life happens. I have a LOT on my plate already outside of running the label and the podcast. This isn't an excuse, it's just fact. Now add writing new tracks, and creating new things for my fans to enjoy on top of all that. Okay, enough that. Let's talk about the mix!

Here are the tracks I'd like to make mention of in this mix:

Track 05: Quivver's "All That Will Be" (Original Club Mix)
Being the techno fiend that I am, Quivver is an artist that I want to keep in fresh in your minds, as this one is another home run from him! This track is huge, the vocal snippets about our consciousness and whatnot?!? Brilliant! Such a beautiful track that is sure to pack any dancefloor! DO NOT MISS! Track 08: Starkiller's "Discoteka" (Original Mix)
I remember when this track came out in 2006 (It's been 10 years already?!?), and it still kills in the club. This one lit up the floor at the BUDDHA BEATS YEAR ONE party for sure! The lyrics are infectious, and sexy. Starkillers certainly made "the beat go boom, Papi!" Get to body rockin'!! Definitely one for your arsenal, if it's not there already!

Track 12: Riton's "Rinse & Repeat" (Original Mix)
"Time to make the club blow up" is right! This fun dancefloor oddity is getting play everywhere. Kah-Lo's quirky lyrics over the sparse yet funky beat is what sells this track, and it's definitely not "time to shut the bitch down"! My only gripe? Too short! But, in all honesty, it's shortness is quite possibly helps people remember it! Perfect to throw over over tracks to see who's paying attention. Get your copy now!

Track 14: The Engineer's "Hypercube" (Original Mix)
I wanted this track to help re-capture that underground club or illegal rave vibe from the mid-to-late 1990's. First, a thick sub pulse that pushes every other sound our of your head, as we hurtle towards open space. Classic organ stabs that slowly creep out from under their filter, but not entirely, with a few vocal stabs that dot the track and light it in some areas, and then... the drop into madness. A sound that escalates over and over and throbs and strobes along with the beat into the foreseeable future. I am so proud of this track, and I feel it's one that people will gravitate towards! Available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, and of course, our own Daibutsu Music Store! Please enjoy!
