For almost a decade, the TechnoFist community and podcast has been diligently elevating and promoting local talent from all over the world - artists who, in many cases, were just getting started, and may have otherwise gone unnoticed. Artists such as Hyperaktivist, Juana, Philipp Drube, I.E, TooMuch, Maedon (formerly PulseWidthMod), Damon Bradley, Viscerale, Tiago Onez, Brenda, A.M.D., Sugar, HORNS, Lund & Ronde, Xiorro, Ne/Re/A, Lindsey Herbert, and very many more - have all made their way through TechnoFist along their paths to becoming international phenomena.

TechnoFist has connected artists, agents, promoters, heads, producers, label owners, causal listeners and everyone in between, in literally every major global hub of Techno music. TechnoFist led to Katalyst, a party series dedicated to obliterating boundaries between techno and trance, and paying homage to the 90's rave.

We now honor the legacy of TechnoFist in its 10th and final year in a very big way - at the birthplace of techno, Detroit, in a massive warehouse and entertainment complex.

Katalyst.313 will feature two large areas representing the full spectrum of techno, from deep, hypnotic and progressive to immensely banging rave, to uplifting modern takes on classic hardtrance and everything in between. The lineup will represent the essence and spirit of the podcast.

Bert's Warehouse and Entertainment Complex is "like an amusement park dedicated to Detroit's history", the appropriate place to honor the birthplace of techno while exploring its past, present, and future sound with Katalyst.313.
